Advent Journey:

Preparing Our Hearts for Christ

The term "advent" originates from the Latin word adventus, which means "arrival" or "coming." Rooted in Scripture and the sovereignty of God, Advent is the four-week season in the church year that invites us to remember the long-awaited fulfillment of God’s covenant promises and to look forward with confidence to the completion of His redemptive work. Advent shapes our hearts to wait well—actively, prayerfully, and expectantly—trusting that the same God who kept His promises in the past will surely keep them in the future.

In this season, we invite you to prepare your heart and home for Christ’s coming. Click on the week below to explore weekly Scripture and Advent activities designed to help you engage more deeply with the hope of Advent and keep Christ at the center.
