CP ESTUARY
CONVERSATION COMMUNITY
LISTEN | LEARN | GROW TOGETHER
Do you ever feel like you're only having surface-level conversations at church? Do you long for a space to talk about the big questions of life and faith with people you trust, even when you disagree?
What We Do:
Estuary is a CPcommunity that provides an opportunity for church members to have honest, respectful conversations about topics that matter to us all. We'll explore different
perspectives and challenge each other's thinking in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
This isn't a Bible study or a debate club. It's a place to listen, learn, and grow together,
recognizing that even though we share a foundational faith, we often have different ways of seeing the world.
How It Works:
We meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, from 7-9 pm in the music room. You choose the topics. Each session, participants suggest topics they want to discuss. The group then votes on which topic to explore that evening. We talk and we listen. We use the Estuary protocol to guide our conversation, which prioritizes listening well. We don't have to reach a conclusion or make a decision. The goal is simply to learn from each other.
If you're open to learning new things about your faith, your community, and each other, we invite you to join us. We'll start meeting in September and hope to see you there!
