CONVERSATION COMMUNITY

LISTEN | LEARN | GROW TOGETHER

Picture this: you’re at a CrossPoint Bible study or small group session, and you bring up a burning question or a fascinating new topic.

But instead of an engaging conversation, you get funny looks and a polite but firm, “Let’s stick to the topic, shall we?”

And you wonder: Is there any place at CrossPoint where my ideas, my thoughts, and my sometimes peculiar questions are welcome?

Yes! CrossPoint Estuary is that place.

What We Do:

Estuary is a CPcommunity that follows a unique protocol where everyone has the opportunity to pitch a topic or question, and then everyone gets to vote on which pitch becomes the topic for the evening. You learn to present your pitch so as to increase the likelihood of being chosen, and you get to feel the thrill when yours becomes the focus for that session!

How It Works:

We meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, from 7-9 pm in the music room.
Our church’s Estuary group prides itself on providing a space for mutually respectful conversation across perspectival lines. While broader Estuary groups often focus on crossing ideological lines, at CrossPoint Estuary, we share a common faith commitment while acknowledging that it is still possible—and healthy—to have different perspectives on various issues.

No topics are off-limits, but it helps to frame your pitch in such a way that other participants can relate to it. So bring your most interesting pitch, and we’ll take a serious look at it.

Come check us out sometime. There is no commitment implied!

Come once, and if you like it, come again!

See you soon?
